2023 AK Inner Passage - M, L with Jon & Suzanne

Juneau Wed-Sat	Wed 6/7 - Sat 6/10 M & L - Alaska Inner Passage cruise with Jon & Suzanne. Fri: Jon & Mark took a glacier flight excursion on Friday. Sat: Mark hiked at Mendenhall Glacier with Lisa W. Sat evening we boarded UnCruise's Safari Endeavour.
Sun 6/11	Cruise Day 1, Sunday: Idaho Inlet, Fox & Shaw Islands Sunny morning with a whale sighting. Eco-Meander excursion for Lee, Jon & Suzanne. Bushwhack for Mark. Stopped near Shaw Island. Anchored inside Taylor Island!
Mon 6/12	Day 2, Monday: Dundass Bay Morning excursions cancelled due to swells but beautiful weather for afternoon excursions.
Tue - 6/13	Day 3, Tuesday: Margerie & Lamplugh Glaciers, Gloomy Knob, South Marble Island Glacier Excusions, polar plunge, Brown Bear, Mountain Goats, Sea Lions, and Whales.
Wed - 6/14	Day 4, Wednesday: Takatz Bay A great day at Takatz Bay. A Brown Bear, Sea Lions, wild flowers. Mark went on Bushwhack, Lee & Suzanne kayaked. Jon went on eco-meander. Then all 4 went on a Skiff & Stroll which concluded with a brown bear sighted near shore. The day ended with a spectacular sunset!
Thu - 6/15	Day 5, Thursday: Saook Bay & Lake Eva, Peril Straight, Rainy, windy AK weather so not many pictures. But fun 'open mic' night. Mark showed Winnipesaukee Loon photos. Jon presented his trademark dry humor with "Uncruise: The Untold Story!'. Mark also did well in the limbo contest!
Fri - 6/16	Day 6, Friday: Fish Bay Last Safari Endeavour Full-Day. More rain, with some sun at end. More bushwhacking and shore walks. Mark finally able to kayak, when a new friend, Davin, offered to paddle for him!
Sat - 6/17	Day 7, Saturday: Sitka - Disembarkation Beautiful day in Sitka. Bald Eagles everywhere. Nice walk to Tlinget Totem park and Raptor Rehab Center. Mark had long chat with local Tlinget carver, Tommy Joseph, and then by coincidence met Tommy's wife in town and chatted with her.
Sun - 6/18	Sunday in Sitka. Beautiful town. Didn't hurt that we had first blue skies they had seen in 2 weeks! Wandered the city, Jon & Mark took another boat tour.
